"Absolutely great place to stay if you're in Ilfracombe. Backs onto the very pretty harbour area, really good value breakfast and the pub is friendly, great beers but not noisy at all. Our room got a little warm and the mgt instantly upgraded us to a two-room suite opposite and the general service and friendliness of the team who manage the Royal Britannia would be a major reason for going back as well as the beautiful spots immediately around the hotel. "Amazing old building nestled in some peaceful woodland. Great breakfast, excellent produce, poached egg was perfect, lovely fresh bread. The room was extremely spacious and well decorated. Comfortable bed and good shower. Great to have free parking in Ilfracombe too. We ate breakfast each morning while watching a multitude of birds through the breakfast room window. "

"Had a lovely stay at Leworthy Farmhouse, Neil and Kirsty are wonderful hosts. Very family and couple friendly. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been all around the world. Quality produce and locally sourced, the portions were very generous and there was lots of choice. It’s in a peaceful location and once you drive out you have the choice to go into Devon or drive further into Cornwall. Highly recommend this little gem of a place, it’s like home from home. "
