"Book your stay with the Clairvoyant Host! Highly Recommend!I think Whaler Resort has the closest rooms to the water on Ka'anapali Beach, and we loved sitting in this apartment listening to the waves. The view from the lanai was great, with lush landscaping on the property below. The photos are accurate, the bedding is comfortable, and the furniture is high quality, no cheap IKEA here. This kitchen is incredibly well stocked with quality pots & pans, dishes, cups, pyrex bowls, storage supplies, cooking utensils, spices, oils, sprays, a milk frother, and more. The host must be clairvoyant. Every time I thought of something I might need, I found it already here. We also used the outdoor grills. I have never cooked so much on Maui as I did during this stay, and I mean that as a compliment. The room is on the side facing Whalers Village, but the shopping center is mostly hidden by trees and bushes. While you can hear the air conditioning units from the complex, it was mostly a dull hum, and we didn't notice it when the slider doors were closed. If you are looking for a quiet place, this fits the bill.Beach time? Again the host was ready. While Whalers provides chairs and towels, we found folding beach chairs, umbrella, beach bag, boogie board and more ready to use in the apartment. Then, I needed to wrap a present... found scissors, tape, a pen. There were games. Books for little kids. A small pet peeve is a freezer without ice trays. This one had four! Need I go on?"
