"Lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean with the usual toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Great breskfast. We had a room with a balcony, overlooking the sea, what a fab view even in March! There is a club next door but that wasn't a problem as we did not have the door open and it shuts at midnight. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from that side. Would definitely book again!"

"Absolutely disgusting. Smelt like human piss HORRENDOUSLY. Carpet was miss coloured from stains. Burn marks on blanket. Bed was floor level. Smelt like fresh current cigarette even tho there’s no smoking signs. Would absolutely not stay here!!!!!!! My clothes all smelt the next day. I backpacked Thailand and nothing was this gross. "

"Think 1960s guest house at the seaside. Cosmetically pleasing. Bed soft and clean but tidy looking behind the initial glance. Worn out, damp/smoke residue where it has soaked in walls over the years. Lots of chips in furniture. Plasterboard smashed in annex and falling off wall Two in a room one packet of biscuits. When we went to switch TV on layers of dust behind it. Grout coming away and missing in shower. Towels thin and harsh. Wish we had chosen a premier inn for night same cost better quality. No staff on at night. Floors thin , walls thinner hear very noise woken at 6:15 by people leaving."

"First time staying on business, asked for a fifty pound deposit in case I cause damage to the room ? I travel throughout the UK never been asked before for a deposit for the room. Went to the downstairs pub for a drink and some food, told the barman I was a resident and could I open a tab, barman refused saying I might run off without paying? Food awful left the meal and will not be returning."

"The room was spotless but had a problem with thd drain in the bath tub took hours to empty.And breakfast is not included. A chatge off £14 on top off the £162 id already paid i did ferl that this should be included in all bookings as a guest."

"staff were really friendly however our room had a foist smell to it when we first arrived which we then discovered mold on the wall "
