"The property was located in a lovely quiet and peaceful neighbourhood with an extremely comfortable king-sized bed. Disappointingly, while we booked for 3 adults, it is only suitable for 2. There was a sofa but it was not retractable so a bare single mattress on the floor was the only unsuitable choice for the third adult. Cleanliness was a problem too. We found mouldy dog biscuits under the sofa cushions, underwear on the floor behind the sofa, what appeared to be mould on the trim around the bedhead, the coffee machine was dirty, dust on the furniture in the bathroom and we had to dodge spiders in the shower. We had to pay in full (rather than a deposit which is normal) almost 600 for the booking four months in advance including an 80 service fee. For that fee, we expected that some decent effort would have been made to ensure the property was up to a reasonable standard of cleanliness. The property has the potential to be excellent if these problems are rectified."

"Lovely apartment, but next time a non "Accessible Access" Room would be better, for us. Concrete floors a bit cold and no "soft" lighting in the kitchen/sitting room. TV reception a bit "fluttery"! The late (3pm) check in was the most inconvenient thing for us. Most do 2pm. Location is beautiful, staff really excellent. Audrey's Restaurant a big bonus."

"Excellent location, spacious room and comfortable bed. I was on the ground floor opposite the conference room which was being used, it was very noisy especially early in the morning. Limited room service was a bit disappointing but there is a restaurant onsite. Hotel is very dark with a medieval theme. Bit outdated and could use a refresh. Otherwise nice place to stay that is very convenient. "

"We had a lovely time, with the property large enough for our extended family. If I was to be critical for purposes of continuous improvement, the property walls and carpets could do with a freshen up and some of the bedrooms smell musty. Dishwasher did not work at first requiring cleanout of food scraps from the basket. The oven is a bit of a mystery with the light remaining on despite being switched off and with no retained temperature. We were happy to collect firewood however had it been wet and cold, dry firewood would have been convenient. "
