"What a wonderful condo. 3 min from Bayfield, just a short walk to a marina. Condo has everything you need, fire pit our the front door was well stocked with wood. Bring your groceries with you, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. "

"Beautiful view. Pet Friendly. We stayed in the guest house. It was right off Hwy 13 including parking. Couldn’t hear traffic from inside though. It was on top of the hill looking out to Lake Superior. At bottom of motel property you can walk onto the trail Browntrail? It’s takes you along lake and into marina area and downtown. You can easily walk to and from downtown from motel. You can see the sunrise over lake from room. Nice new furnishings. Could use a luggage rack, light by parking and different lock. Hair dryers are shared on property. You have to go get one when you need it and bring it back to office. They should put one in each room. Room came with coffee pot, coffee and filters. Bring your own creamer if you don’t like the powder packets. They have dishes, pots, silverware. "

"This was our second stay at the Lakehouse and we will be back next year adding a 4th day! We love this vacation home. The setting and location is just fantastic and we have stayed at a lot of nice homes around the Northland, in Duluth, Lutsen and Tofte.It is spacious and comfortable. It has a huge kitchen, excellent WiFi reception, smart tv so you can get all of your favorite tv apps, comfortable firm beds, a huge yard (in fact a huge property, several acres with no chance of seeing or bothering next door neighbors) and bonus, 600 feet of private beachfront. Our dog was in heaven. And the sunrises are spectacular.As the host reminds us every time, things close up “late" in the year (October!) so don’t expect stores and food establishments to be open, so bring your own provisions. The first time we came we arrived on the day that everyone closed for the winter season. This year we came a week earlier but found that people were already closed or had drastically reduced hours. So be mindful about your timing if things being open is important to you. You can always go into Bayfield.This is a beautiful part of Wisconsin and the South Shore of Lake Superior is very different from the North Shore! We are glad we discovered it.
