"Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! "I really enjoyed my stay at Saint Raphael Villa. I’m a single traveler and the room was just perfect for me and had ever I needed. The room was really cute and cozy and I felt very comfortable there. I also appreciated the access to the kitchen to prepare meals and clean up my dishes. The location is very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus stop and the beach. There is a beautiful shrine about 10-15 minutes walk from the villa. The neighborhood is calm, safe and quiet."

"The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet"
