"The location of this property is absolutely amazing, with a beautiful ocean-front view. We truly enjoyed biking along the boardwalk every day and taking relaxing walks to Balboa Village — the setting really made our stay special.The house offers plenty of space, which was great for our group, although it could benefit from some refreshing updates.We stayed at another property just a few doors down earlier this year, and they provided thoughtful extras like beach towels and beach chairs, which made a big difference and were very much appreciated. In comparison, this house offers very limited additional amenities.Our main concern was the washer and dryer operating on a coin system. One of the reasons we choose vacation homes is for the convenience, especially for longer stays. We stayed for nine nights, and having to find and use quarters for laundry felt inconvenient and somewhat discouraging. It wasn’t about the cost — it was more about the added hassle during what’s meant to be a relaxing vacation.Overall, the location is truly wonderful, but a few updates and added conveniences would greatly improve the guest experience."
