"The hotel is in a really great location and is surrounded by plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as being only a few minutes walk from local bus, tram and metro services. I stayed by myself in one of the smaller rooms. The room was very clean and modern and ideal for a few nights stay. My room faced onto an inner courtyard so I could not hear any of the hustle and bustle of the streets outside however the property is quite small with all rooms in close proximity on the same floor so...

"We had a great stay, lovely room , old style but with modern touches. The staff were very friendly and helpful . It was a comfortable and immaculately kept hotel with beautiful interiors. "

"Lovely family run hotel, sensitively restored to a high standard in a small residential area just outside Muskiz. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are beautifully furnished. Although it is advertised as having a restaurant, it does not serve evening meals and we were directed to the local town which was very run down and although there were a few bars open, none served food and the restaurants we found were all closed. The factory referred to in other posts is in fact a massive oil refinery...

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"Bit of trouble accessing properly at first, as no access code came through!however it was sorted within 10min!by lovely memeb of staff!who worked in bar across road!!otherwise room/cleaning/was all good!Great shower!kitchen down below also good to have and washing machine and drying!only thing i have against is itz a 15 min away from central!so if you're looking to be bilbao itself??on a gd day!lovely walk along river!about 30min?i enjoyed walking along river!though a lot of changes going...

"Great location within a walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and cosy. However, we were kept awake for most of the night by screaming children running around corridors until 2 at night and the adult party going on in the conservatory until 4 am. I think the management should have done something about it. "
