Couple of downsides, it is very isolated so can be difficult if you are solo travelling and the bathroom/shower facilities are limited and not near the dorm room"

"Close to train station. You could go back and forth to public onsen at Noboribetsu in 15 minutes one way. Free light breakfast coffee even have kitchen to cook yourself. Staff are wonderful. Enjoy staying 2 days."
