"The place was very cute and clean. They provided free water, juice and alcohol along with some snacks. This place is setup like a dorm where there is a bathroom to share and a couple showers. The only complaint the group and I had was that there is no air conditioning in the bathrooms so it is very hot. Overall the place was very good for groups of friends."

"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, the atmosphere inside the hostel feels relaxing and is in good condition. What makes this hostel special is the host, he made the stay in this hostel an absolute pleasure! If I would return to Kyoto I would go out of my way to stay at this hostel again."
