"Great staff! They helped to facilitate a lost item at our precious hotel and they arranged for it to be delivered. The staff were always friendly and had answers to our questions. The hotel is situated one stop away from the Kyoto station. Very convenient. The rooms were large, beds and pillows comfortable. Best of all for me, was that they had comforters as I like to sleep with something weighted on me. Across the street there is a very good and small ramen place, highly recommended. We did have breakfast at this hotel and it was OK since it was more Japanese than western. Am used to a traditional western breakfast but other might enjoy a more Japanese one. "

The bathroom was a highlight—modern, beautifully done, and the shower had excellent water pressure (a small thing that makes a big difference!). Overall, a stylish and very Japanese-feeling space that made my trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended."

"Softest beds we used throughout Japan. Nice breakfast spread. Generous amenities. We could have used a towel rack in the bathroom. Unfortunately we didn't get to partake in the onsen"
