"Getting a text at 8:12c in the a.m. wanting to know when we were checking out was not the desired wakeup call. Consequently we decided to go for the breakfast in the lobby rather than Dennys at 11:00/ What a mistake !! The choice was stand in line and make your waffle or have nothing. No plates( only bowls), no jam ( only syrup and butter ) were the options available. What a farce to call this breakfast ! OJ was coloured water- no orange taste at all. Worst breakfast ever at a Wyndhams !!"

"Our stay at Hampton Inn, Plattsburgh has always been very pleasant. We are regular customers. Hotel is well located, close to everything but in a quiet environment. The cleanliness of the rooms is excellent as well as other facilities such as breakfast place or the lobby with its fresh coffee. "The hotel is tastefully decorated, the staff is very accommodating and congenial, and the rooms are comfortable. The only negative is the lack of daily housekeeping; you have to ask the front desk to empty the trash, etc. We stayed for 1 week and it seems the rooms are only cleaned and refreshed when the room is vacated."

"The room was clean and modern feeling. Washroom was good with amenities, shower had good pressure, tv with Netflix. Also walking distance to main street in Lake placid was convenient so I didn't have to drive and pay for parking. Check in instructions were sent to me in advance and easy to get into the room. Would recommend!"

"Access to the room was very easy. Usually I don’t stay in motels where you park by your room, but this one seemed different-more like duplexes. Safer somehow. The room was very clean and well decorated. Everything seemed fresh and new. The bathroom was especially clean. The cable tv was medium quality, but the wifi worked well. No breakfast included, but we didn’t mind since there was a Dunkin, grocery store, and McDonald’s 2 min away. The one downside is that the pillows were very flat. "

"Despite to dumpy and sketchy look from the outside and entry, the room was surprisingly adequate. Clean, nice shower, refrig, tv, wifi, comfortable bed and warm. Very quiet too. A pool and hit tub and breakfast across the street we're good. This is a budget motel, so don't expect 5 star anything. If you only need a nice room at an affordable price, this can work."
