"Clerk was rude, since they requested copy of Passport by email a couple of hours prior to checkin. I found it a bit odd and called aprox an hour before arrival to very. On phone conversation she indicated it was ok and that they had front desk checkin until midnight. Later received a message indicating the the room key would be at front desk, and checkin would be completed next morning. In the morning she was very rude questioning why I did not send my passport by email, althoug I explained...

"This is very basic accommodation near the airport. Pros: Property is clean and the owner is friendly and helpful. He arranged a very early shuttle for me that arrived exactly on time. Cons: There really isn’t much to see or do in the area. It’s probably only appropriate for someone flying out early in the morning. The walls are thin and you hear everything in the hall and next door. "

The receptionist explained the public transport options etc for us, and that was useful as we bought ACTV Transport tickets for 72 hours (I recommend that if you want to visit other islands). It's a good accommodation if you don't want to spend the night in central Venice."
