"Fantastic experience from the first point of contact to the end. In the morning of the booking I had a text from the owner explaining the parking, key code to the gate etc which was very helpful. Overall the room was clean and tidy and comfortable which was well needed after a long day travel and course. If I am working away in the area this would be the place I would book again easily. "Not happy as could not get hold of anyone to let me into the house/room. The outside condition is not great. Overgrown garden etc Not sure neighbours are happy about it being rented Tried to get refund but as hotels.com could also not contact the vendor they could not give me a refund."

"Check in started at 2. Arrived at 3 to find hotel deserted. No answer from doorbell or by calling them. Just went to answerphone. Waited for 30 mins outside then eventually had to book another hotel at extra cost. Finally got a call from hotel and had the phone put down on me. Avoid !!!"

"Overall the house was comfortable and cosy. The only drawback was that we did not find any extra pillows and bedrooms have no lampshades. The location was excellent and only around 25 mins walk to the town centre. Tasco is only 10 mins walk away and Abington Park around 15mins walk. Other shops are also within walking distance. The host was always reachable and even allowed us to keep the suitcases in the house after check out at 11am since the taxi came for us later. Will definitely recommend. "
