This place is absolute perfection! The staff all made us feel super welcome, it was exactly as described, and breakfast is included (to die for). We decided to do dinner at Alma and Chef did not disappoint, we kept having lunch and dinner there after that. The staff was super sweet and accommodating 10/10

Super clean, had everything in the kitchen. Good for a cozy couple. New floors, well stocked kitchen. Nice!

We stood here for 3 nights and it was super cozy and very comfortable. We got the private room and shared the Br with one other room, everything was kept clean and the space is beautiful ! There’s plenty of space to hang out,work/homework and the kitchen is a cute space with great espresso!

Wonderful property at the botanical gardens overlooking the San Jose city with nice walking trails. Tons of birds and butterflies. The on-site restaurant is top notch. I don’t need one, but rooms do not have televisions. Use caution if driving as the roads are steep and narrow. Cars and trucks often park in the road creating one lane there aren’t any sidewalks so people and dogs also share the roads so be mindful if driving.

Going to CR by myself; the staff at Gardens House were awesome. They treated me and those I met that also stayed there very well. I will def return to this place when I come back.

My 2nd time here and once again it's clean and simple and perfect for my short stay between the airport and my destination. Darren does a wonderful job as host. Quick to reply and always helpful. I very much appreciate his helping me set up transportation and recommendations for food delivery. He's totally accommodating and easy to get along with...that's extremely valuable to guests when traveling abroad :)

Small Converted home with great security on quiet street close to main thoroughfare and big park... Keto spoke perect English and was very attentive as he lives there. Saved the day for me by explaining to the car rental agent that the battery was dead on my rental car. Kitchen was clean with decent appliances. Wouldn't hesitate to book again... Only complaint was faucet in bathroom sink needed work...

The place needs air conditioner

Great for value place where the host even helped us park our car into their secure parking lot and helped us retrieve our car. Would have preferred if there was a code to get in so we didn't have to communicate our check in time. Appreciated the AC, common kitchen. We didn't know how to use the hot water but realized afterwards that there was hot water.

I had a wonderful time at Casa 69. All of the staff were accommodating and friendly. Casa 69 is great for solo traveling, couples, or groups. The breakfast was amazing and they arranged pickup and drop off to/from the airport. I highly recommend and will be back again!

Probably the best staff I have ever encountered in all of my many journeys all over the world. Great service and food. Quaint and delightful place . Prime location for Paseo Colon

The property was very well organized and made from recycled material! The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. And the breakfast was amazing. My family of 11 enjoyed our stay immensely!

This hostel is better than the pictures advertised, the staff are very friendly and respectful. Plenty of room in the main area to hangout and meet people. Front door is a buzz to open door, which I’m sure makes some people feel more safe. Hostel also offers massage services and I think they do 10 minutes for free with purchase. Convenient location near the airport, really helpful and friendly customer service they went above and beyond to get us transportation to the next city that we were heading to. We came back the last day and they storage our suitcases while we went around town because our flight was at midnight and they allow us to use the installations to take a shower and provide us with towels for a small fee. We only staid here for a night but it was very cozy ! They picked us up from the airport at 11pm and took us to our room. Very quiet place with friendly staff and other guests. You make your own breakfast with what they have in the communal kitchen and the freshly cut pineapple and papaya were a big plus.

Lolas is decorated beautifully and is so adorable. It felt super safe as there were cameras everywhere and it was gated. The property is a 7 minute walk to the bus stop, and was the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. There wasnt AC but the fans kept it cool enough to sleep. The woman Dila was also so lovely & helpful. Thank you so much!
