"Property itself inside was clean and tidy - this property is obviously a work in progress and would love and visit again in say 6 months to see how far things have progressed.. rooms themselves are immaculate and definitely underpriced.. do need to look at the entry system for the property as front was not working and the back was erratic.. overall though was very impressed at the facilites on offer and location is superb.."

"The company managing the property only seemed interested in telling us about their requirement to make an arrangement to cover breakages at the property during our stay. "Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. Brainshaugh Priory by the River Coquet A priory was founded at Brainshaugh in 1147 for nuns who belonged to the Premonstratensian Order. The chapel ruins are still visible, but all other buildings survive only as buried foundations. The source of the river Coquet is in the hills along the Scottish border near Rothbury. It winds through Coquetdale to the North Sea coast at Amble.
