Check in was fine, and I was aware that the condos are owned privately and didn't have in-house guest services. It is a good location due to its vicinity to restaurants and shops. I had a view of the beach, but at times it did get noisy because of cars passing by blasting their music. The negatives I had was that the AC was too loud and agitated my allergies. "We had a wonderful stay at Lavaland in the Lava bus. The bus was comfortable, clean, warm, and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We loved the star-filled skies, outdoor shower, delicious honey and eggs, and the lava landscape. The owners are welcoming and kind, and they gave us a tour of the unique property. "I booked this unit based on the photos, the ocean view, and the proximity to the pool and was looking forward to our trip. After traveling from Chicago for 16 hours and arriving at 7pm, we were given an entirely different unit than what I had booked.
