"Hotel is right in the heart of Fira. Bus to airport & other parts of town is a short walk. Shops & restaurants are all surrounding the hotel. The views from the patio at our room were amazing. And sitting outside overlooking the caldera to have breakfast was a highlight of the hotel…breathtaking views! Only negative is that the WiFi did not work in the room, we had to go to the reception area for it to work. "

"Sunrise hotel is located in the town of thira. It's conveniently located to the Ktel bus station, shops and restaurants. We were pleased with all members of staff here, especially to Alexandros who was able to help each time we needed assistance. This is a family run hotel and everything here is organised. It has a very nice swimming pool and decor is very new. This would be a choice for me to stay on my next visit. Thank you Alexandros, Socrates and the owners. We hope to see you soon. "

"We stayed for a couple nights. The hotel is well located and the bus station is pretty near. The pool looks different from the images (advertising with night photos?). My biggest concern goes to the bedding. They really need to change the covers wall the stuff. "

"Underwhelming for the price. We stayed on 4 different islands during our trip, this was somehow more expensive than Mykonos and Santorini so our hopes were high it'd be great. It's a great location, right by Ios port and beach. The beds were firm and the room air conditioning wasn't great, neither was the bathroom and shower. If I were going back to Ios, I'd look for somewhere else to stay."

"it was a great stay! we got to the hotel very early and traveled for 9 hours non stop before arriving and they were able to get us checked into a room before 3pm which was so helpful and thoughtful. it's about a 15 min walk from the city center in Fira and goes by pretty fast. it was a great stay with very clean rooms and nice balcony views."

"We stayed one night before going to Oia. Our flight arrived at midnight and the owner kindly picked us up at the airport for free. The owner also gave us a free ride to the wine museum. Highly recommended. "

"Amazing location close to Oia. Don’t need to go into Oia for sunset as straight out balcony. Staff friendly and place was cute and clean with great bathroom. Pool area clean and peaceful. Only small areas of improvement is breakfast was same every day and felt more like a school lunch. We tired of it by day 3. Also bed could be little more comfortable as since no couch if you’re staying in back gets sore. "
