"Lovely little hotel. I arrived and departed in the dark so didn’t see much of the surroundings. It has a nice countryside feel to it with the converted barns. I found I could hear guests next door’s conversations and wake up alarms. The biggest thing for me however was a giant spider that appeared on my bed at 4am as I was getting ready. I guess being a rural location that can be expected however, it has deterred me from returning to the hotel. "

"Took a bit of a circuitous route to get there from the NEC. The premise appeared to be an extension to a house which may have been split in to flats with a corridor to other door. However the premises were clean and had decent facilities When I arrived there were no towels but after contacting the agents someone turned up 20 minutes later with the aforementioned towels. The central heating want on but another radiator did the job. Overall decent value for money. Parking was a bit tight but...

"Not happy as could not get hold of anyone to let me into the house/room. The outside condition is not great. Overgrown garden etc Not sure neighbours are happy about it being rented Tried to get refund but as hotels.com could also not contact the vendor they could not give me a refund."

"We had problems reaching the property contact regarding key collection... tried emailing, phone calls and text messages, thankfully at 1:30pm while on route we received a WhatsApp message with our arrival details from business number. We arrived at 2:55pm, check in was 3pm the cleaner was still in the property so we had to go away and return at 5pm. Quickly it became apparent that the property was unsafe and not clean. "The Hotel has been closed due to fire a few weeks now. No warning to say this was the case, so arrived at the hotel to find it closed and cordoned off. No way to contact hotels.com and ruined the weekend away. "

"Absolutely lovely place to stay, out the way and quiet. Can't fault it was really lovely and clean, would recommend to everyone wanting a quiet romantic weekend away. We also saw some lovely animals especially the pigs they were really friendly and cute! "
