"For a budget hotel I was really impressed by the cleanliness and the customer service. I booked the double room although I went solo. The room was spacious for a single person but I think it would be too small people. I arrived well before check in time but the receptionist was so sweet he still checked me into my room . I was impressed at the cleanliness of the room and bathroom . The towels were nice and fluffy. The hotel is only 2-3min walk from the tube station with excellent and quick...

"A very kind receptionist was able to accommodate me in a brand new refurbished room,with a kitchenette facility,as a free upgrade,and at an earlier checking in. That enabled me to continue with the work in a peaceful environment,accompanied by the bird song throughout. Away from the bustle of the city centre,yet very close,within a walking distance,within this part of the conservation area. Definitely great potential there."

"Had an early flight from Gatwick, and this was much cheaper than staying nearer the airport. 15 min train to Gatwick from East Croydon in the morning made it ideal. The room was tight, not much space for more than a bed. But I didnt need much space. Very helpful and warm welcome by the reception staff. "
