"The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. My wife is gluten free, so had no alternatives such as porridge. Made do with some bacon and egg. The evening meal was also very good, but with a busy restaurant, service was a little slow....

"Super convenient as just opposite the station. Also has just the nicest hotel bar to sit and have a drink in. Room was fine. Downside is no private bathroom, but obviously I knew that before booking and the shared bathrooms were no problem in that was always vacant when I wanted to use it. Would definitely stay there again when next I visit Nottingham "

"A wonderful selection of ales. The menu was a bit basic, but very tasty. The room was comfortable, although could do with redecorating due to a water leak in the roof. Helen the bar maid was very friendly and helpful. On the whole, a pleasant trip. "
