"It's a budget hotel but you get what you pay for. It is old, dated and creaky - a bit like me. Yes, it needs renovation but our room was ok. The guy behind the desk showed us to the room and brought us an extra towel. Don't expect modern, luxury accommodation and you'll be ok"

Walking to the busy front is about 30/40 mins if via the coast walk or 10/15 minutes if via steep walk through the streets at the rear of the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, a staff member actually ran out of the hotel to put our parking permit in the car to thwart a zealous traffic warden. A decent buffet breakfast with cereal, fruit,toast or cooked full English available. Would stay here again. "
