"I used it for Download Festival, it’s really close and there’s a bus stop right outside so it was perfect and a bargain for the price. There’s a persistent smell of damp, but I always carry a room spray with me. Other than that, absolute bargain, lovely people, plenty of space and I’d definitely go back."

"I liked the whole security of the place and the little kettle with condiments offered. I didn't like how there was only 1 flat pillow the stains on the carpets were not great and the walk to the reception especially when the sat back doesn't take you anywhere near is ridiculous. Reception should be close to the accomodation in my opinion. None the less the staff were really helpful with directions and very welcoming"

No staff present, no reception, just lock-boxes outside. E-mail sent late with arrival instructions. Had to call lodge number to find out how to get in. "I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended "
