"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? "Plenty of hot water , shame shower wasnt up to much (not a power shower by any stretch) we found double bed and settee not comfortable. Nice spot , but it is a very steep drive down to cottage , we walked to Skipton via the top road which wasnt really walker friendly , on our return weather took a turn for the worse so an uber was booked which was a good call as we thought a wet back road would definitely hazardous. Not sure we would return at over £200 per night ."

"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."
