"A lovely hotel, just a short walk along the side of the canal, to the town centre.
Our room was lovely, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of shelving and hanging space. A very comfortable bed, always a bonus.
The en-suite was modern with an efficient walk in shower.
The breakfast area was well laid out and comfortable. There was a good range of cereals etc. The cooked portion of the breakfast was cooked to order and was first class. The Eggs Benedict is wonderful, ham off the bone.
A reasonably sized free car park is a real bonus.
We really liked Herriots and hope to stay there again."
