"Amazing beautiful location but unfortunately the house did not live up to expectations, especially considering the price. The house was damp and smelt strongly of damp. Some of the walls were very damp with bubbling of the paint and mould. There was mould around the bathroom plug and around the edge of the shower. "We thought this would be an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas around Skipton. The cottage was way more than that. It was clean, well-eqipped and had everything you could need. Cosy, great countryside views all around, plenty of hot water, a roaring fire and peace and quiet. The garden was dog proof (for our 2 anyway). The owner Rebecca was delightful and very helpful.
