"This cottage was beautiful clean comfortable and quiet I would recommend it to everyone did not want to get up in the morning the bed was so comfortable if you want a truly peaceful break with beautiful scenery this is the place to be"

"A lot smaller than the photos led you to believe. The cottage is just at the left hand side of the white building in the picture and is not much wider than the first floor window. That being said the cottage is finished to a very high standard inside and the owners who live next door are very friendly and accommodating. The cottage is quite isolated and the walks from the door are not very well maintained so are very muddy. We actually gave up after half an hour and came back."

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."
