It is within walking distance of the city center, although there is no sidewalk for the entire route, so walking can be a bit challenging. The bus is a convenient and affordable option. Sorrento is absolutely beautiful and, in my opinion, even more charming than Positano and the Amalfi Coast combined. The views, atmosphere, and overall experience were unforgettable."

"The staff I met were friendly and the room was always well cleaned every day. The bathroom was a little bit worn and the shower door didn't always completely close, but those were minor points. The hotel was a fairly short walk to the town centre and there were plenty of restaurants in the immediate area, also."

"Hotel Del Mare was a quaint hotel out of the way of the louder areas of Sorrento. Not overly fancy but we weren’t looking for that! I asked staff for help constantly with directions. Yes, it was a hike going up the stairs into the main part of town, but after a day we got used to an and climbed the stairs several times during the day. We got our steps in and lots of exercise!! The restaurants near the hotels were excellent!! If we come back to Sorrento, we’ll definitely book there!!!"

"Staff at front desk were excellent!!! Breakfast was quite good, nice pool, easy quick walk to a couple stores/catch the bus. Restaurant was good my only complaint was when it was actually having its full menu or not. Rooms were nice a, very spacious balcony. I would recommend staying here"

Prices at the beach club were surprisingly reasonable, beach servers were very attentive, and the food was very good. "Our stay at Le Fioriere was absolutely fantastic. We arrived at Positano from Naples by Ferry, gorgeous picture postcard view of Positano made us first wonder if we made the right decision to stay further away. If you don’t have lot of luggage you can take the bus, for the SITA bus (govt) you can buy online tickets and costs 3.50 euros, a 10 min taxi will cost you (hold your breath) $60-$70 euros.
