"Amazing property!!! If you want to be out of the city centre of Sorrento but have the option to get in to town. Only 2 euros and 10 minutes on the bus into the city, bus stops right at the hotel door. Amazing views from the rooftop pool over to Capri. Beuatiful!!! Staff and owner are great. Food was very nice. "We stayed there for almost a week. From entering the property until check out everything worked really well. The staff is super friendly and helpful with 24*7 support available. The location is good as well, with direct bus every 20 min. For the breakfast one can order 1 freshly made dish and 2 drinks along with the buffet for free, its flavourful and fulfilling. I would definitely recomment this place :) "

"I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner. Nothing was too much and all of our needs anticipated. A visit is not complete without dinner in the on-site Don Alfonso 1890 restaurant. We enjoyed the traditional multi-course set menu. Even though we were stuffed we couldn't leave a bite it was so delicious. The freshest ingredients, presented like artwork. We savored every bite. The included breakfast each morning was also a highlight. Thank you to all of the incredible staff who made our stay so special and especially Olivia, Mario and Ernesto. We will definitely be back."

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and Villa Lubrense was the perfect place for us. It has a beautiful pool with amazing views of the water, and just a 10 minute hike down to a private beach. It also is only a short bus ride to Sorrento for food and shopping. If you are wanting a peaceful stay away from crowds Villa Lubrense is it! "
