Atlantic Palace Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"You can CAN NOT drink the water, and you have to pay for drinking water which I would have liked to know before we booked. The breakfast was quite good and lots of options we took water bottles from breakfast to the room for coffee in the morning. Although the room was clean, we had to ask for new cups, coffee, towels or something almost every day. There was a lovely, private, clean pool and the staff are helpful. There was a beautiful dinner every night for a fee but you can’t order food in the bar. There was live music in the bar. There is a shuttle to town but the hours are not convenient and it’s an extra charge for out side the scheduled hours. The city bus stops just outside the front door which was very easy to use and convenient. I would stay there again but the water situation needs to be fixed."

"Great location and very quiet. Rooms clean and spacious. The only thing lacking was a coffee maker. Had to wait for the restaruant to open, and then were charged for taking coffee back to the room. Not what I would expect for the price I paid."

"Overall, the hotel was very good. The views from the room and also from the bar and restaurant is amazing. The food at the restaurant was also exceptional. The only downside is that you are far from the main city centre, however, they do have a shuttle that runs hourly."

"Stunning location! We stayed in a mini home comfort cabin with sea views. Comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom could use renovation as black mould in places. Nasty smell came up from the sink at times."

"We stayed here for 5 nights, it was a wonderful stay. The hotel is charming & very well maintained. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely with ample options.Location is central with the view of the water from the rooftop & walk to the marina where the ferries leave is abt 20 mnts but there is an elevator that can take you down to that marina also if u are not in the mood to walk down.Grand Marina is also abt 15-20 mnts walk, has some nice restaurants. Lots of restaurants & shopping right outside the hotel. The Donna Sofia Restaurant just outside the hotel is a great dining option."
