Need to drive a while from Reykjavik, but you’ll find yourself in a very quiet and relaxing place, close to the Geysir geothermal area. "Very cute and rural. 20 mins from Selfoss but little light pollution in the area. We saw the northern lights from the hot tub! but they were easier to see when we took a drive. Very convenient to a lot of golden circle stops and great that it had a restaurant because there aren't many super close. Did not have ice or free coffee and there was no breakfast available.
