"I was staying here on business for 4 nights. The restaurant was closed on the first night due to staff shortages but when I did eat in the food was very good. Given what I was paying I was surprised that there was no carpet in the room and was glad I had taken my slippers!"

"Nice staff. We were walking the Pennine Way and got there at about 6.20pm. Were told last orders for food was 7pm so mad rush to get in a fit state to eat! Food was very nice. Rooms nice. Would recommend. "

"As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. A decent sized room ( Double ) ,there is plenty of Car parking spaces also if needed,i didnt try their Breakfasts, as i needed to be out early morning."

"Really enjoyed the stay. We found the room clean, comfortable and well furnished. Our shower was great, the towels clean and fluffy. Grassington is a great place to visit. It is room only and having to go out for breakfast delayed the start to our walks a little. But we knew it was room only when we booked, so I'm not complaining, just making people aware."

"The area was amazing . The room was well appointed however I had a couple of issues. I had little or no hot water / heating throughout my visit. There was an infestation of fleas in the kitchen window area. The fridge door shelf was broken meaning I couldn’t store orange juice in it. However with all this aside , I really enjoyed my stay and the bar has some of the best Guinness I’ve ever had."
