"It looked good on the photos before we booked, but, when we arrived it was even better! We booked the day before after changing our plans so couldnt gat a lake view room, but our "side lake view" didnt disappoint. The staff were great, the food was first class and the view from the restaurant and terrace was exceptional. Argegno is small but there are maybe a dozen bars/cafes/restaurants within 2 minutes walk of the hotel. The ferry service and the bus to Como made the choice of location...

"Ibis suited our purpose. Hotel is clean and staff is nice. However, every day our card deactivated and had to get recoded. And the hairdryer doesn’t work for more than 1-2 minutes at a time. These are minor issues. Pluses are good nearby pizza, shuttle bus to/from airport ($5) to catch train into Milan and a decent breakfast buffet. Thank you for our stay!"

They need to help guests arriving by car a little, my navi did nor recognise that many streets are pedestrian. Lovely hotel right on the lake
"It looked good on the photos before we booked, but, when we arrived it was even better!
