Easy access to shops, restaurants, spa and art galleries. Cons: Limited table/counter space made it very difficult to set up the room for my stay. I was constantly needing to move things around to make coffee, charge electronics or eat. Lack of outlets made it difficult to charge electronics. "

"The staff is amazing. Lorenzo and his team were extremely friendly and hospitable. The hotel provides a unique and exceptional vantage scenic point and view of Cape Town and Table Mountain. The view is spectacular! From the reception area, to the kitchen staff, and bar , housekeeping at every touch point and interaction the staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this property it is also centrally located without the busyness of the water front. "

"We booked the hotel thinking it is near to both the airport and city. Indeed it is near to the airport but apparently, it is not within the area whereby tour operators will pick you up from. We booked two day tours and found out later they do not pick up from Grandwest. Making our own way to the meeting points is not cheap nor safe either. There is zero shopping in the vicinity.
