"My friend and I stayed at the Ardoe house for one night. We booked an Executive double, King bed and stayed on a Thursday night in June. The hotel overall was pretty quite, the outside grounds were beautiful. Our bed was very firm, but also expected anywhere outside of the US. We made a table reservation at the restaurant, and were the only ones there. Food was ok, if you have the means to get back into town there are likely better options. "Staff were polite, breakfast good, bar price reasonable and spotlessly clean. Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again."

"Everything was very clean and we opted for a room with a balcony which is great when the sun is shining, the downside being that the room was very warm and the only form of ventilation was opening the patio doors onto the balcony. This did not detract from our stay, however, and the staff we met were very pleasant."
