"We upgraded our room to a non-gas station view, and wow was the upgrade a win! Stunning views, comfortable suite accommodations. Dined at the on-site restaurant once and it was comfortable with good food. Loved the riverside walk between the hotel and restaurant. Laundry available but is easier to drive than to walk to. Convenience store is available, but food selections are limited (no olive oil/butter for cooking in the full kitchen.) Suite had a comfortable seating area that doubles as a sleeping space if needed. Loved the personal touch of the guestbook. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!"

"This is The Place to stay in Ouray! We booked 2 rooms, one for our son. We stayed in the Box Canyon Suite which had a full kitchen, separate bedroom and a futon. The best was being able to go out a back door with our dog to a patio and yard! We had fresh bread made from the owner. The owners were wonderful people, so friendly and helpful! The views from the back deck were mesmerizing! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else."

The bed and pillows in our king suite were extremely comfortable and provided for a very quiet and restful night’s sleep. Fortunate for us, our one night stay turned into two nights thanks to a snowstorm blowing in overnight. We couldn’t ask for a cozier place to be snowed in. "
