"Steps away to Saint Lazare train station. If you like to go to Saint Michel Abbeyy and other Normandy day trips it is very convenient. Walking distance to shopping center and Big Bus tour, nice for sight seeing for the entire Paris tourist spots. "

"The man at reception was lovely. The hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood and convenient location with great transport options. The only two downsides were that we couldn’t park there onsite and that the bathroom sink was a bit small to use. "

"Hotel Turenne La Marais was a great find....the location is supreme, the staff super kind and friendly, and the room, while small, was clean, had double pane windows ( super quiet) and a great hot shower.....the linens provided were also nice, new and good quality. all in all, it is a good place and I recommend it! "me and my partner travelled for my 23rd birthday for 4 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly - bed was comfortable, staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean and had everything you needed, couldn't fault anything from the place at all. only thing I'd say is the area is very VERY much under construction and you'll hear it, see it and dream it, the area isn't bad, it's just very grey"

"Loved being able to walk everywhere. Felt really safe and comfortable. The staff were lovely especially the night manager - he was so helpful and polite. The rooms are a little rough around the edges but everything works, the beds are really comfortable and the mini fridge is also excellent. Overall, really nice stay and the lift works and was always really quick which is so hard to find in Paris. "

"The hotel is very close to a metro station which makes the visit to the main attractions so easy and convenient. The hotel is in an older building but very charming. Our room is comfortable and clean. The staff is so hospitable and helpful!! Thank you for making our first trip to Paris a wonderful experience."

"The staff overall were helpful and nice. The breakfast on one side is very nice; however the “tour group” side is nasty. Do not let the lady at the front push you in with the tour group. We were directed to that side and it really was not worth what I paid for the breakfast. I attempted to get the desk to fix the problem, but I had to catch a train….no refund for the breakfast ever came through on my bank card."

The bad experience is summed up in the quality of communication and rooms. We booked our room on the hotel website and although we were of local taxes, we we surprised at check-in that a refundable security deposit is a standard requirement! Small things like being told about the hotel policy on garabe or health club access would be desirable. With...

"Stayed 5 nights and this is a very attractive, well-located, clean hotel. The staff is terrific and i mean the front desk staff, the bartenders and wait staff and the cleaning staff! All of them were very friendly and so helpful with directions and recommendations. There are multiple metro stations near-by to get anywhere in and around Paris. Plenty of restaurants and bars including a great italian place, boulangerie and grocery store across the street. I would absolutely stay here again."
