"We totally enjoyed our stay in the cute town of Gruyères. The room was incredibly small but the bathroom was large. Opened the windows for fresh air (no a/c or fan) but were inundated with flies. Incredible views of the castle, nice meal at the Knights Table and good additional cost breakfast on the terrace."

"This hotel is in a great location in central Marly close to Fribourg. It's a simple bus ride into Fribourg, where there is lots to see and do. The room is not air-conditioned, but not many places in Switzerland are. The hotel downstairs is spotless and delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for travelers who want to see Fribourg but get a taste of Swiss village life---great point from which to bike around the countryside as well!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"

"The meeting that I was schedule to attend in Neuchatel was cancelled a full six months before it was to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When I attempted to communicate with the hotel both through Orbitz and directly to see if I could get a refund, partial, refund, or postpone my reservation until next year, my queries were met with silence. Clearly not a guest-customer oriented establishment. The kept the deposit and didn't say a word. Very poor customer relations."

Opening the window was not a great option since the hotel is located on a busy roundabout. Too warm, too cramped, too noisy…"

"Lovely location directly in the old village. Anna in receiption was very accommodating. There is an old set of circular stairs, so the staff were wonderful to assist with luggage. Rooms are comfortable with nice bedding and a choice of pillows. Coffee maker, hair dryer and several outlets around the room. Restaurant has a lovely view and the staff was friendly and offered great suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is helpful to know that after 6pm and between 8am and 10am you...
