"We enjoyed staying at International au Lac Historic Lakeside Hotel. It is a good mix of old-style hotel with antiques with modern convenances and upgraded rooms. The location is very convenient at the lakeside end of Lugano’s upscale shopping street (Via Nessa) and just a short walk to the main square Piazza Riforma and lakeside Promenade. "We loved the location of the Hotel. It was slightly out of the main area, but a lovely walk by the water took us there in a very short time. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It is always nice to have parking available. We also appreciated how they set up their TV stations, with the English channels grouped together. The Head waiter in the restaurant was amazing. We would certainly recommend it and stay there again."

"We had a lovely experience staying at Conca Bella. We arrived later than expected and were so grateful to be seated for dinner at the hotel restaurant - despite it being quite busy. All of the food was fantastic and seasonal. We could not have asked for more. "

"I stayed here for one night and I definitely got my money's worth. The bathroom and shower were shared with other guests but they were really clean. The food was also great although a bit expensive. The room was a bit shoddy, but I'm not complaining; the beds were clean, towels were provided, the TV had plenty of channels, and I had a sink in the room which made it a very comfortable stay. If I go back to Lugano, I'll probably stay here again"
