"This hotel is extremely BASIC. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower is powerful. However, there is NO AirCon in the rooms which made my 3 nights stay extremely uncomfortable. Also, make sure you check if they are observing EUGDPR about your personal data. When I checked in, there was someone else's address printed on my check in slip!"

"Quiet place but clean. Front desk was friendly. We had a car so we drove around for the most part, they had free on site parking outside and in the garage. I did see bus stops around the area when walking to the bakery. There is a bakery two minutes away from the hotel which had really nice baked goods. Grocery store near by if you want to buy snacks. "Very nice hotel, central to the Messe and Ruttenschied which in Essen is very important. It was clean, comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be challenging in the area, but the hotel has its own parking as well. This is the first time I have stayed but will be looking to it as my first choice from now on as I need to visit the city."
