"I was impressed immediately upon entering our room. It was clean, bright and pretty. We had a family room so the girls had their own twin beds in a shared wall area, complete with nice closet and unique architecture. They slept well. We used the towel warmer and the shower was good, just not the greatest water pressure. The wifi was good. The location was quaint and close enough to downtown Inverness to walk easily. "The continental breakfast was the basic of the basic. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. "

"The Hotel is located on the main street with limited parking spaces. You can park along the side streets. No bar or evening meals but there are plenty in the area. Clean bedding and room but lack of heating."

"Great stay, very comfortable bed and pillow and extremely clean. Were in the outbuilding which was great. However rooms 101 and 102 had no place or hook to hang a thing and after arriving soaking wet would have loved to be able to hang up our jackets. The rooms could also benefit from a mirror for hair drying purposes. However very impressed with everything else and the staff were lovely."

"For an overnight stay it was good. I ended up with the single room #4 that had a view of the poorly maintained back yard. It was fine as I was only there to sleep while traveling the NC500. It was clean and the room was warm on a cold rainy evening. A tip for hot water is that you have to turn the hot water button on that is just outside the bathroom door near the light switch. Great hot water, but don't turn the bottom knob all the way to the right or else it will just get scalding hot and then...

"From the beginning to end of the stay was wonderful! The room was amazing! The food was perfect! If you want a place to stat, this place is a must! They set up a cab for us to go around and arranged for dinner and breakfast for us. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Staff are welcoming and helpful. "

We were told the problem was caused by the Scotland water company so the hotel had no control over the issue. Nevertheless, it was not very pleasant when you cannot shower after a long day of travel."

"The room had the sun beating in the windows so it was quite warm when we arrived. Unfortunately, we got in late and had an early flight out so had to go to bed relatively early. You could hear traffic if the windows were kept open so it was a bit hot all night. The room was very clean and had a great sunset view. "
