"I got it because it was close to where I was going but was astoundingly happy there. There area is out in the country and the property is a converted building originally built for workers on the surrounding estates. Great history and an old church on the property. Beautiful walks and a lot of birds and cows. I saw a rare woodpecker in the front and the whole dinner room stopped to come look. "Overall, a good room for one night in a very central location. It was very clean and tidy, apart from one area. The blinds were very dusty when I went to close them. Not a big deal to myself, but other guests might be unhappy with this."

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "

"From checking in to checking out the staff were really helpful and attentive. We ate in the restaurant twice in our four night stay and the food was fantastic. We even had the honor of being the first to choose off the new summer menu and it didn't disappoint. The choice of beers/ ales and every spirit avilable at the bar was geat and prices were very fair. Wednesday nights Jo and special guests was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed the music. And to cap it all off we got to see dolphins...
