"All staff members encountered were helpful and friendly. They work very hard and we noticed. The hotel is a great location to be able to walk to Royal Mile and down Princes Street. When everything closes early than expected in Edinburgh being able to hang out in the lounge area was great. At first glance, there are some run-down shops nearby, but I felt safe and it was easy to get to two different tram stops without worry. "

"I have only good things to say about this hotel. Check in was easy. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but we didn't spend much time there except for sleeping and showering. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance. There was even a farmer's market minutes away. Would recommend. "

"Loved the moxy hotel. Location is walkable to old town and other areas. Easy transport to airport and train station. We arrived early snd were pleasantly surprised and grateful to be offered to check in early. We looked forward to getting back and relaxing downstairs. Food was great . A very huge selection for breakfast. Fun hotel with foosball and games. The rooftop bar is wonderful. We also used the gym facilities. I particularly enjoyed using the punching bag. "The hotel was clean, there were a few cobwebs on the light fittings but apart from normal wear and tear it was fine. Staff we came in contact with were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Hotel was near enough to Alhambra theatre where we were going for a show. Guy on reception gave us very accurate directions of how to get from hotel and timescale to get there. I would stay again if going to that area."
