"The Blockade Runner is a good safe bet on WB. You can’t beat its location and they’ll likely never be any more hotels permitted on WB so they have a bit of a captive market. That said their guest services are top notch, the front lawn and beachfront access can’t be beaten. Parking and valet guys are great. Servers at the bar and pool are great. The sailboats, kayaks and access to the harbor side activities is fantastic. It’s so close to the shops, and restaurants down near South Beach too....

"Everything was very nice from check-in to check-out. Very friendly and helpful people. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast every morning. Wednesday evening welcome social was enjoyable, pool was nice; too bad the hot tub was undergoing repairs. Outside grounds maintenance could be improved. A little trash wasn’t picked up and a few of the outdoor tables needed to be wiped down. Coffee was available all day long. Room was freshened every other day. Parking was adequate.
