"Nice small hotel with black sand beach with gorgeous sunset and colors. The rooms are nice and large surrounding a mini jungle with nice trees and flowers. There are 2 restaurants-bars on the property that are totally overpriced (5-star hotel prices for a 3-star plus hotel). The staff is nice and the amenities are good. The pool is small and not really clean. "

" A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. "The staff is amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The room was small but comfortable. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Short walk to the beach. We also ate at the restaurant. Fantastic meal. VERY accommodating for my allergies and celiac disease."
