"The hotel was conveniently located near the thermal spa and I was able to stay & enjoy until the evening. The area is so picturesque and loved strolling around the shops. The breakfast is great with baked pastries.I can hear the water pipes from adjoining rooms ,it didn't bother me since I brought earplugs. There is no aircon but you can open the windows."

"The air condition did not work, which made the otherwise OK hotel a terrible experience. Since other reviewers report the same thing i really doubt that it is "temporary" and "technician is on the way". In 40 celsius it was a sleepless night even with Windows open. "

"Hotels.com tells you to contact the hotel before arrival. We did but this led only to confusion. Just book and show up during check-in hours. "Delightful hotel - we would happily stay again. Quite centrally located in a nice area (although all of Bergamo seemed very pleasant from what we saw). Spacious bedrooms, reception staff extremely helpful with booking taxis and so on. A welcome drink on the first night was a lovely bonus. We didn't sample the breakfast as there are so many cafes in the city to try, but it looked good. All in all a very pleasant hotel indeed - can't wait to return to Bergamo and the Arli hotel will be high on our list of places to stay. "
