"Rancho Kuxtal feels like discovering an idyllic secret. It's so small and tucked away off the tourist route in Yucatan. Kasie and Victor are such welcoming hosts and we felt totally at ease. There are masses of animals - domesticated, wild and somewhere in between. Cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, ducks, iguana, birds and of course the horses. They're all so loved and well cared for. "Casa Baloo was a little hard to find but it was worth it. Very new room with comfortable bed and pillows. We almost left without breakfast, but the young staff member walked us down the restaurant just a very short walk away"
