"I recently stayed at the Blackwell Grange Hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the gardens. The leisure facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-maintained and a fantastic bonus for a relaxing break. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasure — the food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in a lovely setting. Breakfast had a great range of options, catering to different tastes. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close enough to Darlington town centre yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Whether you’re staying for business, a weekend break, or a special occasion, Blackwell Grange offers excellent value and a touch of luxury. "Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, Mandy the receptionist was full of local knowledge and even got the little one an Easter egg!! Her dog Sydney was lovely too!. The food was excellent value for Money and great quality too, we will definitely be returning again next year for Easter break, this is a hidden Gem, Customer service in all areas was amazing."
