"This hotel is very beautiful inside! The overstuffed sofas in the lobby area are so inviting and comfortable. The receptionist that welcomed us was a very distinguished gentleman who answered all our questions and was friendly. Our room was full of color and welcoming. The bathroom is very clean and spotless. In the morning I took pictures of our place throughout the inside. The shade in the bedroom didn’t work and thus made it difficult to open the window, but I was able to make it work. (...

"Hotel was right across the train station so it was not a long walk at all. Very convenient. The lake was behind the hotel so easy access. There is also a very nice and big restaurant right beside the hotel which was a bonus. The ferry station was about 10 minutes walk so not bad. Over all the hotel was great. Breakfast was included with our stay. It was average. "

I do t believe in the area you will find any better. This is top of the line for the area although may night be top of the line for American standards. "Breakfast was fine. The only downside to the visit was that there appeared to be temperature controls in the room but they didn't do anything. We asked for help and after a bit of a struggle staff checked and told us the installation wasn't yet complete so the controls wouldn't do anything for about another week. By the time anyone sees this comment the problem should be gone. But 27+ degrees C in the room was uncomfortable."

"The property was fantastic. The staff were fantastic. Working really hard and provided a great stay at basically the only place open on the mountain. But it didn't feel like anything was lacking. Breakfast was great, dinner was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back again to try some of the hiking paths in the area."

"Lovely quaint hotel. Parking area is quite small so recommend a small hire car. I was lucky to get a room with a balcony. Staying on business so no time for sightseeing. Food in restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was good with the offer of cooked food to order."

"4 night stay and as others have mentioned the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was okay if all you need is a bed for the night and are travelling all day. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of town/train station. Has a lovely restaurant next door with views overlooking the lake. "
