"On arrival with 2 couples in 2 sports cars for a 1 night stay whilst touring Italy we felt the place on first impressions was very dated and in need of investment. Rooms in particular are dated although some recent items upgraded but were clean. However once we were settled in the staff who seemed mainly family were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t be nicer. A minor issue with a toilet flush was immediately repaired. "This family owned hotel is a diamond find. The hospitality and guest services are exceptional and genuine. Niccolò, Simonetta and Matteo are friendly, kind and always ready to help you in your exploration of Montepulciano, restaurants and many other sites nearby. The room was spotless, comfortable and the complimentary breakfast quite satisfying. We hope to return to this wonderful little hotel."

"The accommodations were very good as were the service and the breakfast buffet. Only problem is that central Chiusi is not a walkable distance from the property. Had to take cabs back and forth, although the man in reception was very helpful in arranging this. No restaurant on the premises but Nanna Rosa is very close to the hotel and the food there is wonderful. "
